I knew I would need some help to pull off this podcast.  I could list a dozen or so FFFs, but they were mostly the bigger ones (Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity, Cloverfield).  I knew there had to be others that I had forgotten or never heard of before.

That's where FFF lists came in.  I found several such lists, and since I believe in giving credit where credit is due, I thought I ought to reference them here.

I always go to Wikipedia first, so their FFF page and their list of FFFs was the first I consulted.  It is okay, but incomplete.  In fact, it is the shortest of the lists I consulted.

The next list I found was Chrissy's Top Lost & Found Footage Films on IMDB.  Chrissy calls them "lost & found footage films", which is a little different, and she lists a lot that don't fit my definition of FFFs (like Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon), but she updates her list frequently and she included a lot of titles that I had not heard of.  At last count, she has 146 films, and you can refine the list to show which are on Amazon Instant, Hulu, and Crackle.

A similar list was Poremecen's Found Footage Movies, which is also on IMDB.  He lists a lot of the same film Chrissy does.  He only lists 82, but I think he lists most of the better ones.

There are plenty of other lists out there as well, including this one on Listal. Thanks to these lists, I'm going to have plenty of material for the podcast!
